Comme l’un de nos membres a grandi bilingue, il était tout naturel pour nous de proposer aussi des discours en français. Cela nous permet de rassembler des couples et des invités venus d’horizons différents et de toucher encore plus de cœurs. Notre priorité n’est pas une grammaire parfaite ou des traditions rigides, mais l’émotion, l’authenticité et l’atmosphère qui rendent votre journée inoubliable. Non-traditional weddings are all the rage these days, so it’s no surprise that the guest lists are getting more international. To make sure as many folks as possible can follow the ceremony at their own bash, there’s a growing trend of switching to speeches in English. We want to point out that we’re not native speakers, but thanks to our work environment and vacations (shoutout to Netflix for series in original language), we feel confident enough to deliver a wedding speech in English. The big plus is that we got plenty of time to prepare. And in the end, it’s not about nailing perfect grammar; it’s all about the vibes and passion we bring to the speech.
